Covid… how are we coping?

Back in January 2020, I was looking forward to a once in a lifetime holiday with my family in Southeast Asia. Back in January 2020, I’d never heard of Covid. Back in January 2020, life seemed good.

And then everything turned upside down.

I remember hearing about an odd little virus causing a little bit of concern in a town far far away. I paid it no attention, not a bit. But day by day, the story got bigger and bigger. The family started wondering if it would effect the holiday, if we should move it forward, or back, or not at all.

“Don’t worry guys!”, I told them. “It’s nothing.” The news kept getting bigger, and at work we finally started getting the odd cancellation.
